To be instructed in the proper usages of the word "Hoth" and its accompanying terms, look no farther! Enscribed in these pages are various usages of the word "Hoth". By no means is this a complete dictionary, because "Hotheese" is a living lanugage and subject to change. Most of these terms are taken from StarMoon, and the usages are in accordance with modren StarMoon culture, unless noted that these are more tradintonal usages.
Hoth~ a. noun. Hoth, the sixth planet in the system of the same name, is an icy, unpopulated world covered with glacier fields, circling a blue-white sun. The isolated world is not even recorded on some standard navigational charts. Hoth is orbited by three moons, and receives a great deal of meteor activity. The planet's daylight temperature averages -32 degrees centigrade even in the temperate equatorial zone, and can plunge another 20-30 degrees at night. Hoth's native lifeforms include the common tauntaun and its natural predator, the Wampa ice creature. The many species of tauntauns eat fungus growing in cave grottoes and beneath the snow layer, and cluster together in caves during Hoth's bitter night to keep from freezing. Sights on Hoth include spectacular frozen ice geysers, and a 1000-kilometer long chasm in the planet's southern hemisphere. The bottom of this chasm is filled with water, kept in its liquid state due to the immense pressure of the two opposing cliff faces. Several glaciers, slowly sliding into the chasm's depths, harbor algae and burrowing, algae-feeding ice worms. usage: The ice planet of Hoth was the home of the Rebel's Echo Base.
b. slang As a descriptive term, used to describe something exciting, great, or wonderful. Most often used in place of slang term "cool". usage: That's a hoth truck! or Hoth! I'm chatting with Ray Park!
hothentic~ adj true, undeniable, authentic. usage: Lauren, I'm sure that planet's hothentic.
Hoth, Freeze in~ slang Insult. Similar in usage to "Rot in Kessel." Both terms describe an unwanted position, one usually granted to an enemy. usage: Hah! Try to steal Qui-Gon's FMBs, will you? Freeze in Hoth!"
Hoth, Firegem's chance on.~ slang Derogitory. Due to their delicate nature, firegems cease working on Hoth. When using this term to describe someone, it is saying they have little or no chance. Similar in usage to a "snowball's chance on Tatoonie." usage: Those Sailor Sith don't have a firegem's chance on Hoth to get us!
Hoth, Sailor~ proper noun An ice-blue haired Senshi charged with the protection of the planet Hoth. She is the senshi of "Ice and Innocnce." Also, Sailor Hoth is Princess Kyri, the long lost Princess of Hoth. Her true name is unknown to most people. However, more information can be found on her at StarMoon.
Hoth, Sailor Chibi~ proper noun A blue haired Senshi. She is rumored to be the cousin of the famed Sailor Hoth. More information on her as well can be found on her at StarMoon.
anti-hoth~ slang Very bad, not good at all. usage: Having to babysit during a cliffhanger Sailor Moon episode is anti-hoth in the extream!
hothunk~ noun Sound that one's jaw makes when a particularly fine specimen of the male persuasion passes one by. usage: Annika's jaw went hothunk when Obi-Wan walked past.
hothy~ adj very cool, usually used to describe something instead of an exclamation. usage: That Wolverine may be fine, but Toad is sooo hothy!
hothniscity~ noun The extent of hothness upon we base something, like how hoth it is is determined by what it IS. usage: The hothniscity of Ewan and Liam may be debated, but never denied!
supercalifragileisticexpealihothy~ slang A word from the popular HoloVid "Merry Hoppin", sung by the lead actress in a song. usage: Supercalifragileisticexpealihothy! If you say it fast enough it sounds really naughty!
hotherific~ adj great or full of hothness. usage: He is SO hotherific!
Hothifulness~ adj very, very full of hothness and having hoth attributes. usage: Hothifulness! A new Sailor Jedi has come to save the day!
hothimaximus~ adj The maximum of hothness. usage: Woah, hothimaximus...look at that picture!
hoth, Oh that's just~ slang Not good. Sarcastic, it means the opposit of what it sounds like. Oh that's just hoth. Someone crashed my ship!
